A mermaid probing a desolate part of the ocean, a graveyard of sunken ships...
My first attempt in acrylic for many a year, 50x50cm. Completed within a day. Not a great photo of it, as my camera has started tending to distort colours and exaggerate contrasts these days.

It's absolutely gorgeous. Desolate, decrepid, and downright awesome. I know you said the colours have been distorted, they work brilliantly in the posted version. I hope I'll get to see this one in real life some day.
