Naia was the daughter of a clan chieftain, in the ancient times when the Dragonclores ruled a warlike tribe inhabiting the wild, rocky montains to the east of Aratan. The mountainous terrian where they hunted herded and fought (in battles against raiding reptillian Kraken) made them a resourceful and athletic people. Lithe and nimble, Naia was a warrior and huntress, also gifted in the bardic and shamanic arts. She was a distant ancestor of Asterith.
