Celtic Templar by dashinvaine Celtic Templar by dashinvaine
Technically such an ornate shield would be against the Rule, but Celts will be Celts.

Wow, I just love the Celtic pattern on the shield! But yeah, crusaders wouldn't have used that... But who cares?
And the cape... I wish I had one of those! :D *fav*

Wow... That shield is just about the coolest thing I've ever seen, and I don't even want to think about how long that took you.

Thanks, yes, the design took some planning, and even after that it's not quite right- the lines aren't very smooth or straight and some crossings go over where they should go under. Still, it's quite a small drawing.

Some people do much more elaborate and perfect celtic knots than this, and I wouldn't know where to start with those!

It would be a shame to spoil the shield in action ... but then again, it looks like his sword has been busy keeping the enemies away from the fine knotwork :)
