The so-called Apprentice Pillar in Rosslyn Chapel, Scotland, where I went last August. Very fascinating place. I may update my stock account with some more photos soon, now that I am once again able.
This photo has been sitting in my camera since then, since my PicturePoject thing packed up. I've just figured out a way of getting photos through rigging the printer up to the PC, so here we are, the first of many, possibly.
As I should be practicing my Latin:
Columnen discipuli sic hic nomen in Rosslyn sacello in Caledonio. ubi in menis Augustus postremus visi. Locus delenirimus. Mox potest stirps expositio mia cum plus picturis renovabo, nunc potero.
PAX TIBISCUM!!!
Sorry for my Latin...I only took two years, and haven't practiced for 2 years already +D.
I got lost in your the last sentence LOL.
Do you ask if I enjoy/like the child with the mule and the follower of the monks..Paul? I completely forgot a lot of rules, so I may have completely translated it wrong. +D
I didn't continue with Latin because my high school just dropped the course, since only a very few enrolled to take it...but I missed it...I was actually doing pretty well, getting medals and all for the national tests, etc, etc...but it was good while it lasted...
My latin is quite rusty. I can pick up bits here and there, but alas, not all of it.
Thank you for sharing this!
